- the company has begun construction of another tower directly across the water in Lower Manhattan and plans to shuttle workers between the two buildings on private ferries, calling this their "Venice strategy"
- "sprung up over on what was once industrial land. It is an enormous complex—by far the largest cluster of skyscrapers in the region outside Manhattan." (Goldberger)
